How much does driver file software cost: Vertical Identity or CDL Suite?
DQF Pro alone is $48 per driver per year, or $199 a year for unlimited drivers. CDL Suite starts at $199.95 a month, billed month to month, before its DQ Files add-on, which has no published price. A full year of DQF Pro unlimited costs less than one month of CDL Suite's starting price. And for carriers that need a random program, DQF Pro is included in the Vertical Identity membership at no add-on fee.

Annual software cost only; reports and tests are extra on both sides. CDL Suite is shown at its published starting price for 12 months; its site states no driver count for that price and no price for DQ Files, so its real figure can only be the same or higher. At every size shown, the whole Vertical Identity membership, random program included, costs less than CDL Suite's starting price.
What does a carrier still need after buying DQF software? A random program, tests and screening.
Driver files are one part of compliance. The random program, the tests and the background reports still have to come from somewhere. At Vertical Identity they come from the same portal, at published prices.

Does CDL Suite include a DOT random testing program?
No random testing program was found. We found no random pool, consortium or C/TPA service on cdlsuite.com (pricing page and homepage, checked October 14, 2026); "drug testing programs" appears there only as a topic of its FAQ. CDL Suite is driver hiring and DQF software, so a carrier using it still needs a separate consortium for § 382.305 random testing. Vertical Identity's membership is the random program, with DQF Pro driver files included: $85/year for the first driver, $25/year for each additional driver, or $295/year flat for unlimited drivers.
How much does CDL Suite cost compared with DQF Pro?
CDL Suite publishes "starting at" $199.95 a month, billed month to month, which is $2,399.40 for a year; its pricing page names no driver count for that price and gives no price for its DQ Files add-on.
