You could go direct. You'd be assembling a stack.
At 50+ drivers you might qualify for a direct enterprise contract with the nationwide drug testing network. But direct accounts only get you the collection. You'd still need a separate C/TPA, MRO, Clearinghouse vendor, MVR vendor and pre-employment screening vendor: five contracts, five invoices, five logins. We bring the driver-compliance stack under one membership and one portal.
One vendor to onboard
Procurement teams don't want to onboard five compliance vendors. With us the C/TPA, MRO review, Clearinghouse queries, MVRs, PSP reports and criminal background checks come from one provider, so there is one vendor to set up and one place your team orders from.
One portal, every driver
Every CDL driver on your DOT number sits in the same random pool and the same portal: the selections, the orders, the results and each driver's qualification file in one place. Driver Qualification Files (DQF) are included with membership; most consortiums do not include them at all.
We're your C/TPA AND your partner — not the police
FMCSA requires a C/TPA, and at scale you need one that operates as a partner — not an enforcement layer the field sees as adversarial. We work with your safety, HR, and finance teams as a back-office extension. We don't ambush drivers, we don't game compliance for billable tests, and we don't surprise your AP team with "platform fee" line items. The work gets done — quietly, on schedule, audit-ready.
DOT + non-DOT, all under one roof. One provider, one portal.
DOT random testing, non-DOT pre-employment screening, MVRs, Clearinghouse queries, PSP, DOT physicals and SAP management, all from one provider and ordered in one portal at member prices. Your HR team learns one tool.
DOT drug test
Pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion. Electronic CCF, MRO review included. Order 24/7 from the portal.
BAT (alcohol)
DOT breath alcohol test at a collection site. $128 for the drug + BAT combo. Same network.
DOT physical
National Registry-certified medical examiner at a collection site near the driver.
MVR by state
All 50 states, ordered from the portal. The price depends on the state that issued the CDL.
Clearinghouse query
Pre-employment full queries on every new hire plus annual limited queries on the roster. Our fee; the FMCSA credit is separate.
Criminal background check
FCRA-compliant; the consent goes to the driver, not the employer. Recommended for CDL hire decisions, not required.
PSP report
Crash and inspection history from FMCSA. Recommended for CDL hire decisions, not required.
SAP management
Return-to-duty program for drivers who failed or refused a test. Per affected driver, separate from base.
Plus non-DOT pre-employment drug screens and criminal background checks for office staff, dispatch, mechanics, and warehouse hires — same portal, same member pricing.
Your drivers in our pool. Selections, notices and reminders handled.
Every CDL driver on your DOT number is placed in our random pool and selected at FMCSA's minimum annual rates of 50% for drugs and 10% for alcohol (49 CFR §382.305(b)). Selections post to your portal, the notices and DER reminders go out until each test is done, and tests are scheduled at any of 20,000+ collection sites.
Selection
A computer-based random number generator selects drivers from your pool at the FMCSA-mandated 50% drug / 10% alcohol annual rates. Every selection shows in your portal.
Notices and reminders
Your designated employer representative gets each selection notice and the reminders until the test is done, so a multi-terminal roster does not need a spreadsheet to track who has tested. The driver goes to any of 20,000+ collection sites.
Reporting
The annual MIS report and your compliance documents (Certificate of Enrollment, consortium agreement, drug and alcohol policy) are in the portal. Custom integrations available. Ask us.

Enterprise reference pricing
Same member pricing applies whether you have 50 drivers or 5,000. The membership price does not move as you add, remove or replace drivers.
Non-DOT screening for office, dispatch, mechanics
The same portal and billing relationship handles non-DOT pre-employment drug screens and criminal background checks for your non-CDL roles — office staff, dispatch, mechanics, warehouse, sales. Our corporate background screening side is moving to verticalid.com (under development); for current customers we keep it in the same portal you already use. See our pre-employment screening overview or call (602) 899-1606.
If your fleet is smaller
The membership is the same at any size. If you have nine or more drivers, the $295/year fleet plan enrolls online in about five minutes. If you're a solo owner-operator, the $85/year owner-operator program is right-sized. Both include Driver Qualification Files (DQF). We move customers between plans at no charge as they grow.

What qualifies as an "enterprise" drug testing program?
For our purposes, enterprise means 50+ CDL drivers, multiple terminals, or several safety managers sharing one program. The membership is the same flat plan we offer any fleet of nine or more drivers, $295 a year for unlimited CDL drivers on one DOT number. What changes at enterprise size is how we set the program up around your terminals and your team. Fleets under 50 drivers can enroll online in about five minutes.
How is enterprise pricing structured?
The membership is $295 a year flat for unlimited CDL drivers on one DOT number. Tests and services are ordered at the same member prices every member pays — $69 DOT drug test, $59 BAT, $14.25 – $39.75 MVRs depending on the state, $12 Clearinghouse queries (our fee; the FMCSA credit is separate). Carriers with more than one DOT number or specific setup needs should book a discovery call so we can walk through the whole structure.
Can more than one person on our team be involved?
Your designated employer representative signs in to the member portal to order tests, see random selections and manage driver qualification files. If several people on your team need to be involved, tell us how your terminals and managers are organized on the quote form or a discovery call and we will set the program up around it.
How do enterprise random selections work?
Your drivers are in our DOT random pool, selected at FMCSA's minimum annual rates of 50% for drugs and 10% for alcohol (49 CFR §382.305(b)). Selections post to your portal, and the notices and DER reminders go out until each test is done. Tests are scheduled at any of 20,000+ collection sites, so a driver in another state does not have to come home to test.
Do you offer non-DOT pre-employment screening for office staff?
Yes. The same portal handles your DOT random pool plus non-DOT pre-employment drug tests for office, dispatch, mechanics, and warehouse hires. Criminal background checks, MVRs, and drug screens for non-CDL roles are ordered from the same place. Note: corporate background screening is moving to verticalid.com — for now, see https://verticalid.com/pre-employment-screening/ or call us at (602) 899-1606.
Why can't we just open a direct account with the nationwide network or another lab?
You probably can — at 50+ drivers you might qualify for a direct enterprise contract with the nationwide network. But direct accounts only get you the collection. You still need a separate C/TPA for the random pool, a separate vendor for MRO review, a separate vendor for Clearinghouse queries, a separate vendor for MVRs, and a separate vendor for pre-employment screening. We bring the driver-compliance stack under one membership at member pricing — that's the wedge against assembling it yourself.
